Jakarta, October 12, 2011. EVALUBE, a lubricant brand produced by PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia (WGI), officially disseminated the road test result of the latest motorcycle lubricant product “Evalube Runner X” type 4T. The dissemination was done some time ago.
Evalube Runner X SAE 20W40, API SG lubricant test was aimed at proving Evalube Runner X lubricant endurance in road daily traffic as compared to other 4T lubricants with the same specifications. The test was done with 20 scooters (110 cc and 125 cc) which operate everyday as far as 250-300 km. The test included stability level against heat, evaporating level of the lubricant, engine cleanliness (sulfate ash), fuel quality and riding comfort. The test also evaluated the effect of the lubricant work performance on engine components.
The road test found that Evalube Runner X is highly stable against temperature changes compared to other lubricants, not easily evaporable at a high temperature, has an excellent endurance with less than 10% decrease of TBN (Total Base Number); therefore, it can be concluded that Runner X lubricant is an ideal modern lubricant and has fulfilled all the requirements of SAE 20W-40 API SG JASO MA.
